Hello Families,
Room 9 has been working on our inquiry about earthworms. We have discussed our wonders about worms, what we know about worms, and the different parts of a worm. Today, we talked about the important role earthworms play in nature. You could ask your child "Why are worms so important to the earth, animals, and humans?"
In math, we have been looking at different types of patterning word problems. We have been exploring growth and repetition patterning with different attributes. We are applying our understanding of skip counting and recognizing the core of patterns to solve these problems.
We have been working on sensory words to add description to our writing. We brainstormed different words related to each of the five senses. We have been working on adding sensory words to their writing to make it more descriptive, using the computers to type it out.
You are able to see your child's work on Seesaw for some of the work, your child has been working on this year.
